Kenneth David Newman
Kenneth David Newman 1958 ~ 2007 Kenneth David Newman, age 49, of Bountiful, died at home Saturday morning following three years of extreme pain and physical suffering. Kenny was born at LDS Hospital on Feb. 1, 1958 to parents Kenneth Dale and Jewel Stensland Newman, and lived his entire life in Bountiful, graduating from Bountiful High School. He immediately began life as a carpenter, becoming most proficient in the building trade, including major remodeling for LDS ward chapels, including Wilshire Ward, Los Angeles and numerous others. His favorite place was the family home at Bear Lake's Eastside near Laketown where family and friend reunions filled the summer calendar. His constant companions during three years of homebound injuries due to a tragic auto accident, were Lab dogs, Annie and Sage. His beloved mother, Jewel died seven months prior to the accident. His five surviving siblings are Julie McDonald (Scott), Kristine Day (Dave), Folsom, CA; Laura Newman, Sandy; Amy Louise, Bountiful; and George Morris (Kristin) of Simi Valley, CA; also numerous nieces and nephews and his devoted father, Kenneth Dale Newman of Bountiful. Funeral services will be held Wed., May 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at his Bountiful 19th LDS Ward Chapel, 1500 N. 400 E. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 No. Main St. and Wed. morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
